LIMITED TEN YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your appliance free of charge for 120
months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship
or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service
center listed below that is nearest you, together with your sales slip and $5.00 for
postage and handling. California residents need only provide proof of purchase and
should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a receipt,
the warranty period shall be 120 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 120-MONTH
DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above
limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Body Analysis Measurement
1. Operate the scale on a secure flat floor. Tap the scale to turn it on.
Wait until “0.0” appears.
2. Press user button repeatedly until you get to your user number. Scale will display
the stored data: user number, height, age, gender.
3. When scale display shows “0.0”, step on the scale barefoot with your feet
aligned on the electrodes on both sides of the platform. (Note: you must be bare-
foot in order for the scale to read your body analysis measurements.) Your weight
will display for a few seconds.
4. Then, “BF” (body fat) weight displays for a few seconds. One of the color bars
will light up to indicate whether your body fat is high (red bar), on target (green) or
low (yellow bar).
5. Next, “BF” (body fat) percentage displays for a few seconds. One of the color
bars will light up to indicate whether your body fat is high (red bar), on target
(green) or low (yellow bar).
Before Using Scale
Precautions for Use
CAUTION! Use of this device by persons with any electrical implant such
as a heart pacemaker, or by pregnant women, is not recommended.
1. Set switch on the base of the scale to measure in pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg).
2. Set scale on floor. Surface must be level for accurate operation and safety.
Weight Measurement Only
To measure weight only:
1. Operate the scale on a secure flat floor.
2. Choose pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg) by switching
the convertible switch on rear of scale.
3. Tap the scale to turn it on.
4. Wait until all digits light for a few seconds and
“0.0” appears.
5. Step on the scale and stand still to measure
your weight.
6. Step off the scale and it will shut off automatically.
Personal Data Setting Mode
Setting the User Number
1. Tap the scale to turn it on. Wait until “0.0” appears, then
press the “SET” button. User number “P-01” will flash;
press “UP” or “DOWN” button to select another user
number. Press the SET button to confirm.
Setting the User height
2. Default height flashes. Press “UP” or “DOWN” button to
get the correct height. Pressing and holding either the “UP”
or the “DOWN” arrow will advance numbers quickly. Press
“SET” button to accept the height.
Setting the Age
3. “AGE” appears and default age will flash. Press “UP” or
“DOWN” button to select your age. Once the correct age
has been reached, press “SET” button to confirm.
Setting Gender
4. Default gender icon flashes. Press “UP” or “DOWN” to
choose between male and female gender. Press “set
button to confirm.
Display and store data
Data storage is now complete. Scale will display stored
data (user number, height, age, gender) and then turn
off automatically. Scale is now ready for body analysis
measurements.
6. Now “BW” (body water) percentage displays for a few seconds. One of the color
bars will light up to indicate whether your body water is high (red bar), on target
(green) or low (yellow bar).
7. Next, “BM” (bone mass) percentage displays for a few seconds. One of the color
bars will light up to indicate whether your bone mass is high (red bar), on target
(green) or low (yellow bar).
8. Finally, “BMI” (body mass index) will display for a few seconds. One of the color
bars will light up to indicate whether your BMI score is high (red bar), on target
(green) or low (yellow bar).
9. Scale turns off automatically.
NOTE:
If the scale is overloaded, “Err” will show.
If you step on the scale before “0.0” appears, the scale will not function properly.
Scale will show “Err” if there is improper foot contact in the body analysis
mode, for instance, when you stand on the scale with socks or shoes
on. Hard or dry skin can prevent you from making proper contact with
electrodes on the surface of the scale. Try applying a small amount of
moisturizer to your feet before using the scale.
Scale displays a low battery warning: “Lo”
