RefrigerationDiagnosticScreen
Onthisscreen,theusercanseeinformationthatwillhelpidentifyandtroubleshoot
refrigerationsystemissues.
1. Goto ActiveAlarmsScreen/AlarmHistoryscreen:
a. Thiswillappearblankifnoalarmsorwarningsareactive.Thisboxwillbe
flashingifawarningoralarmisactive.
b. PressthisbuttontobetakentotheActiveAlarmsScreen/AlarmHistory.
2. Hot GasBypassOutputPercentage
a. ThisisthecontrolsignalbeingsenttotheHotGasBypassValve.Percentage
correspondstopercentopen.Thereissomelaginvalveresponse,soitwillnot
correspondtotheexactvalvelocationatalltimes.
b. ThisisaheatingfunctionanditwillopentopreventtheSupplyTemperature
fromdroppingbelowtheSetpoint.
c. Itisnormalforthevalvetobeopenatsomepercentageatalmostalltimes.This
chillerisdesignedwithexcesscoolingcapacity,andthisvalvebalancesthat
excesscapacity.
d. AhissingnoiseemittedfromtheHotGasBypassValveistypicalwhenthevalve
isopen.
e. IftheSupplyWaterisconstantlyafewdegreesundersetpoint,theprocessison,
andtheHGBP
%ishigh,theremaybeanelectricalormechanicalproblemwith
theHotGasBypassValve.Onemaynoticealackofahissingsoundinthiscase.
3. Goto MainScreen:Pressingthisbut tonwilltakeyoubacktotheMainScreen.
4. Goto CompressorSetupscreen:Youwillbepromptedforapasswordtoaccessthis
screen.Thecompressorstagingparametersandallotherpasswordprotected
parameterssuchastemperaturealarmsetpointsandtemperaturecontroltuningcanbe
changedfromthisscreen.(ThePasswordis“000”.)
5. Goto ProcessDiagnosticScreen:Changetoscreenthatdisplaysdiagnosticinformation
fortheProcess.
